regulations for examinations

The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board or other authority concerned, the regulations for certain University examinations have been amended as follows:

Classical Tripos, Part IB

SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 269)

With effect from 1 October 2008

The Faculty Board of Classics give notice that, with effect from the examinations to be held in 2009, the supplementary regulations in respect of Paper 8 of Part IB of the Classical Tripos have been amended so as to read:

Part Ib

Paper 8. Greek and Roman philosophy

A text or texts will be prescribed. The paper will be divided into two sections. Section (a) will contain questions on the prescribed text or texts. Section (b) will contain questions on ancient philosophers and philosophical systems. Candidates will be required to answer three questions, of which at least one must be taken from section (a) and at least one from section (b).
