Wolfson College

DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Wolfson College seeks to appoint its first Development Director. The Director will establish a Development Office in the College and lead both the fundraising activity and the engagement with its broad membership base.

Wolfson College was founded in 1965 and has grown throughout its first four decades to a position where it now has well over 8,000 addressable members on its database, both traditional alumni (graduates and mature undergraduates) and other members such as Emeritus Fellows, Senior Members, former Visiting Fellows, and Scholars, together with participants in its innovative Press Fellowship and Wolfson Course schemes.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced development professional seeking a Director role at a Cambridge College. The successful candidate will become a Fellow and will work closely with the other College Officers, in particular the President and Bursar. The starting salary will be in the region of £40,000, with a full benefits package.

Full details of this post and how to apply are available at http://www.wolfson.cam.ac.uk/jobs. The deadline for applications is 25 April.

ACADEMIC OFFICE MANAGER

Wolfson College seeks to appoint an Academic Office Manager. The Manager will run the Academic Office and its small team, and report to the Senior Tutor. The Academic Office is responsible for all student administration from applications onwards, and the work involves liaising with prospective students, current students, Tutors, and Directors of Studies. As well as a large body of graduate students studying full-time for Doctorates and Masters' Degrees, many of whom are from overseas, there is a small number of mature undergraduates studying full-time for B.A. Degrees and a large number of part-time Masters' students. The work is therefore varied and provides for a stimulating environment.

Experience of working in a university or college context would be ideal. The starting salary will be in the range £26,000-£30,000, with a full benefits package. Full details of this post and how to apply are available at http://www.wolfson.cam.ac.uk/jobs. The deadline for applications is 11 April.
