COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN PHILOSOPHY

Applications are invited by Churchill College and Trinity College for the fixed-term, shared post of College Lecturer in Philosophy for the period 1 September 2008 to 31 August 2013. The successful applicant will be elected to a Fellowship in Churchill College, where s/he will be expected to direct undergraduate studies in Philosophy, and will be required to teach undergraduates in small groups for both Colleges for 12 hours per week, 20 weeks of the year. S/he will also be required to conduct and publish research and to participate fully in the undergraduate admissions process. Applications from those with research and teaching interests in any branch of the subject will be welcome. The pensionable stipend will be within points 39-44 on the University pay spine (currently £25,134-£29,139 a year).
