The Finance Division is looking to appoint an Accountant to join its busy Treasury and Investments team. The successful applicant will carry out a variety of investment accounting, cashflow, and reporting duties, whilst ensuring that best practice, processes, and procedures are adhered to in order to maximize return and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
Candidates should have experience in a financial accounting environment and ideally knowledge of cashflow management. An appreciation of the Money and Stock Markets and their transactions is desirable. The successful candidate will be AAT qualified or have a relevant degree and appropriate experience and, ideally, some experience of staff management. He or she will need to work to a high level of accuracy within strict guidelines and operate complex reconciliations. Experience of using spreadsheets at a sophisticated level and the ability to work in a high volume environment is essential. The salary will be in the range of £25,134 to £32,796 a year.
