Dr Joanna Kostylo has been appointed as the first holder of the Buckley Fellowship at the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (CRASSH), generously funded by Mr Brian N. Buckley.
The Centre is pleased to announce that the following have been awarded the first Mellon Teaching Fellowships for 2008-09:
Professor Martin Daunton, of the Faculty of History, and Dr Amrita Narlikar, of the Centre of International Studies, who will be teaching the course 'The history and politics of the international economic system'.
Professor James Montgomery, of the Department of Middle Eastern Studies, and Dr Louise Haywood, of the Department of Spanish, who will be teaching the course 'Al-Andalus and España: translatio and tolerance'.
