Green Templeton College

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

In October 2008, Green College and Templeton College will combine to form Green Templeton College - creating one of the largest graduate Colleges in Oxford. Its scale will create a rich and diverse intellectual environment with facilities and services tailored to the needs of graduate students.

The College is now seeking to appoint its first Director of Development, to integrate the development activities of the two constituent Colleges and create a development strategy for the College's new funding priorities. Working closely with the Principal and senior members of both the College and wider University network, the post-holder will lead the College through a major increase in its development effort, notably laying the foundations for a major capital campaign.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fund-raising, especially in major gifts, with experience of team leadership in an educational or cultural institution. He or she will have a professional and confident approach to building relationships, and possess the communications and interpersonal skills necessary to operate at a senior level. The closing date for applications is 29 February 2008.
