Exeter College

QUEEN SOFIA RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

Exeter College proposes to elect to the Queen Sofia Research Fellowship in Modern and Contemporary Peninsular Spanish Literature from 1 October 2008. The Fellowship is open equally to men and women and is tenable for two years in the first instance, renewable for a further period of one year only. The College is willing to consider applications both from persons about to complete their work for a doctorate and from those engaged in postdoctoral research. The salary offered is £21,248 (inclusive of Housing Allowance; subject to deduction if accommodation in College is offered and accepted).

USHER CUNNINGHAM STUDENTSHIP IN MEDICAL SCIENCES

The College, in association with the Department of Physiology, Anatomy, and Genetics expects to elect to an Usher Cunningham Studentship for graduate work in Oxford in Medical Sciences.

The Studentship would be tenable from 1 October 2008 for one year, renewable for a further two years, and would pay full fees plus a grant for maintenance at the Medical Research Council rate for Home and EU students.

Applicants must be under 25 years of age on 1 October 2008 and must be or become members of Exeter College. The successful candidate must also be accepted by the Department of Physiology, Anatomy, and Genetics to read for a postgraduate degree in medical science.
