RESEARCH STUDENTSHIPS 2008-09

Churchill College is offering a number of postgraduate Studentships to provide partial funding for students wishing to undertake a research degree at Cambridge. For September 2009, the following Studentships are available: up to three Gulbenkian Studentships for non-UK scholars in any subject; a Jafar Studentship in petroleum engineering; a Duckworth Studentship for a student from the Commonwealth, with a preference for students from Africa, wishing to undertake further study in education.

The above Studentships will be awarded in conjunction with the Cambridge Trusts. Applicants will be eligible for consideration if they are non-UK citizens, provided that Churchill is their first-choice College and that they tick the box indicating that they seek funding from the Cambridge Trusts when completing the Graduate Admissions and Scholarships Form.

Other sources of funding will be taken into account when the amount of any award is determined.

In addition, the College is able to provide a number of partial postgraduate Studentships which are restricted to UK citizens who are currently undertaking their undergraduate degree or M.Phil. Degree at Churchill College or who are graduates of Churchill College. Those applying for these awards should do so via the College's Tutor for Advanced Students.
