Election

Dr Paul Charles Fletcher, M.B., B.S., Ph.D., London, Reader in Psychiatry, Department of Psychiatry, elected Bernard Wolfe Professor of Health Neuroscience with effect from 1 February 2008.

Appointments

University Lecturer

Classics. Dr Christopher Lyall Whitton, B.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., JN, appointed from 24 September 2007 until the retiring age.

Clinical Lecturer

Medicine. Dr Rupert Christopher Lansdowne Beale, B.A., Ph.D., M.B., B.Chir., T, MRCP, appointed from 24 December 2007 for four years.

Head of Department

History and Philosophy of Science. Professor John Peter Forrester, K, appointed from 1 December 2007 until 31 July 2008.

Reappointment

University Lecturer

French. Dr Miranda Frances Gill, JE, reappointed from 1 January 2008 until the retiring age.

Grants of Title

Affiliated Lecturers

Classics. Dr Anne Isabella Rogerson, G, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2007 for two years.

Divinity. Dr Neil Ross Thorogood has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2007 for a further two years.
