Dr Liz Orme, Director of Transport, Cambridge Consultants, will give a lecture, entitled The journey of the future, at 7.30 p.m. on 4 February in the Wolfson Lecture Theatre, Churchill College, Storey's Way. This will be a joint meeting of the Society for the Application of Research (CSAR) and the Philosophical Society, and will be chaired by Professor Brian J. Ford, President of CSAR. Coffee and biscuits will be served for thirty minutes beforehand in the foyer outside the theatre. All are welcome. CSAR members are admitted free (together with their guests, depending upon their type of membership). Non-members will be asked to pay a nominal entry fee of £3.
