Classical Tripos, 2009: Amendment to prescribed subjects and books

Further to their Notice of 20 June 2007 (Reporter, 2006-07, p. 776), the Faculty Board of Classics give notice of the following changes to the prescribed subjects and books for the Classical Tripos, 2008-09. The Faculty Board are satisfied that no student will be disadvantaged by these amendments.

Part Ia

For Papers 1 and 2, Plato, Ion has been replaced by Plato, Crito.

Part II

The subjects for the following papers have now been confirmed:

Paper A4. Greek and Latin textual criticism and transmission of texts

Catullus 1-3, 4-15, 62-3.

Paper C3. A prescribed subject taken from ancient history
