LECTURER AND ACADEMIC DIRECTOR

The Centre for the Study of Muslim-Jewish Relations (CMJR) intends to appoint a Lecturer and Academic Director with effect from 1 October 2008. This is a three-year fixed-term post, with a possible two-year extension. The salary will be in the range of £28,000 to £30,000 a year.

The post-holder will develop and oversee an academic curriculum and pursue research in Muslim-Jewish Relations. Applicants should have completed a Ph.D. Degree or equivalent. The successful candidate will have a strong publications record and/or demonstrable potential to deliver this in the near future. Interdisciplinary teaching and research will be an advantage.
