JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS

The Governing Body of St Anne's College invites applications for the following Junior Research Fellowships, tenable from 1 October 2008. Junior Research Fellowships provide an opportunity for individuals of exceptional calibre, at the early stages of their academic careers, to pursue research for up to two years. Candidates must not have completed more than four years of full-time research by 1 October 2008 (candidates registered for doctorates at other universities, and those who have recently completed doctorates are eligible).

KATHLEEN BOURNE STIPENDIARY JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

The Kathleen Bourne Stipendiary Junior Research Fellowship was specifically bequeathed to help support graduates. They will be expected to be engaged in doctoral research in a French subject, primarily (i) French language and literature; or (ii) French architecture, art, history, music, or philosophy.

BIEGUN WARBURG JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

The Biegun Warburg Junior Research Fellowship is offered for research in the Social Sciences, and will be offered this year for research in Geography, Politics, Economics, and Law. Applications will be considered from graduates, women or men, in their second or subsequent year of doctoral research.

DRAPERS' COMPANY STIPENDIARY JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

The Drapers' Company Junior Research Fellowship is for research in the Sciences, and will be offered this year for research in the fields of Engineering Science, Materials Science, and Earth Sciences. Applications will be welcomed from graduates, women or men, in their second or subsequent year of doctoral research.
