FELLOWSHIP IN HISTORY IN ASSOCIATION WITH A CUF LECTURESHIP IN THE FACULTY OF HISTORY

Merton College seeks to appoint a Tutorial Fellow in History with effect from 1 October 2008. This post is associated with a CUF Lectureship in the Faculty of History, in the University of Oxford. The Faculty is the largest History Faculty in the United Kingdom with a very strong international reputation for its scholarship and its teaching of undergraduate and graduate students. Together, the College and Faculty intend to appoint a front-rank academic in Modern British History. The successful candidate will have an outstanding international record in research and a strong commitment to teaching at all levels.

The total University and College stipend is on the scale £31,343 to £55,562 (October 2008 rate), plus allowances. The appointment will be pensionable under the USS scheme.
