COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN LAW (FIXED-TERM)

Applications are invited for a College Lectureship in Law, to take effect from 1 October 2008, or as soon as possible thereafter. Newnham is seeking to appoint someone committed to the teaching of law to undergraduates. The duties will include: teaching 240 hours a year for those reading for the Law Tripos, participation in the activities of the College Law Society, and carrying out research in any field of law. The appointment will be for five years and is fixed-term.

The salary will be in the range of £26,000-£29,000 a year at a level equivalent to a single fixed point on the Cambridge University scale of stipends.

The closing date for the receipt of applications is noon on 11 February 2008, and short-listed candidates will be called to interview on 22 February 2008.
