SENIOR TUTORSHIP AND OFFICIAL FELLOWSHIP

Following the resignation of Dr Sonia Mazey in order to take up a new position, Keble College intends to elect a Senior Tutor and Official Fellow to begin as soon as possible after 18 January 2008. This is an important post which includes overseeing both undergraduate and graduate affairs, including admissions. The appointee will have general oversight of the academic work of this large College and will be responsible for advising the Governing Body on matters of academic policy in the changing circumstances of the collegiate university. He or she will supervise a staff of three and have responsibility for managing the academic budget of the College. The person appointed will be an Official Fellow and member of the Governing Body, and candidates should be sympathetic to and well informed about academic values and concerns, and have experience of administration or management in an educational context. The salary will be on the Grade 10S grade 10 scale (currently £45,397 to £52,628, further discretionary points available), with additional allowances including a housing allowance of £7,803, free meals, and health insurance.
