Graces submitted to the Regent House on 31 October 2007

The Council submits the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 109), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 9 November 2007.

1 The Maynard & Betham Fund and the Dr Walker's Rentcharge Fund, which are for the general support of the Botanic Garden, have until now been administered informally by the Botanic Garden Syndicate. The Syndicate have proposed that it would be financially advantageous to amalgamate them with the Botanic Garden Endowment Fund which exists for the same purpose.

2 The Council has received the remarks made at the Discussion (see p. 188) but does not wish to make any response.
