Appointments, reappointments, and grants of title

The following appointments, reappointments, and grants of title have been made:

Appointments

University Lecturers

Judge Business School. Dr Paul James Tracey, B.A., Ph.D., Stirling, appointed from 1 October 2007 until the retiring age.

Middle Eastern Studies. Dr Marta Marzanska, M.A., Ph.D., NH, appointed Kennedy Leigh Lecturer in Modern Hebrew from 1 January 2008 until the retiring age.

Librarian

English. Mrs Elizabeth Anne Tilley, M.A., CTH, appointed Librarian from 1 November 2007 until the retiring age.

Under-Librarian

University Library. Mr Donald James Manning appointed from 22 October 2007 until the retiring age.

Acting Director of Institute

Latin-American Studies. Dr Sarah Radcliffe, NH, appointed from 1 September 2007 until 31 March 2008.

University Lecturers

Experimental Psychology. Dr Gregg Davis, DAR, reappointed from 1 October 2007 until the retiring age.

Genetics. Dr Francios Balloux reappointed from 1 October 2007 until the retiring age.

Physiology, Development, and Neuroscience. Dr Richard John Adams reappointed from 1 October 2007 until the retiring age.

Zoology. Dr Howard Andrew Baylis and Dr Nicholas Ian Mundy reappointed from 1 October 2007 until the retiring age.

Grants of Title

Affiliated Lecturers

Biology. Mr John Stephen Adams, SE, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 May 2007 for a further two years. Dr David Christopher Aldridge, CTH, and Dr Leonora C. Brosan have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 August 2007 for two years. Dr Graeme Fairchild, TH, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 April 2007 for two years. Dr Tessa Muncey has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 May 2007 for a further year. Dr Emma Jane Louise Weisblatt, SID, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2007 for a further two years.

English. Dr Theodora Alexopoulou has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2007 for two years. Dr Edward Keith Brown, PEM, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2008 for a further two years.

Modern and Medieval Languages. Dr Miranda Helen Griffin, NH, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2007 for two years.

Music. Dr David Skinner, SID, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2007 for two years. Dr Edward Wickham, CTH, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 April 2007 for two years. Mr Timothy Charles Brown, CL, Dr Jeremy Thurlow, R, and Dr Geoffrey Andrew Webber, CAI, have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2007 for a further two years.

Philosophy. Dr Derek Cameron Matravers, EM, has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2007 for a further two years.

Dr Matthew James Mason, M.A., Ph.D., CTH, appointed University Physiologist (not University Lecturer) from 1 August 2007 until the retiring age.

The College affiliation for Dr Amrita Narlikar, under reappointments, should be deleted.
