Elain Harwood, of English Heritage, will give a lecture entitled Churchill College and the post-war expansion of higher education, in the Wolfson Hall at 5 p.m. on Thursday, 18 October.
An exhibition entitled 'Thinking through architecture: the Churchill College competition' continues in the Colville Hall until 26 October. Admission is free, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., seven days a week. The exhibition explores the architectural competition to build the College, held in 1959, which marked the arrival of the Modern Movement in British higher education.
