The trustees of The Lalor Foundation have voted to suspend the Fellowship Program temporarily. In 2007 only eligible one-year renewal applications were accepted. No awards will be made in 2008. The Fellowship Program is currently scheduled to resume in 2009 with 15 January 2009 as the anticipated deadline date for receipt of applications.
Any updates of these plans will be posted online in late August or September at http://www.lalorfound.org/.
The Fellowship Program has been instrumental in fostering the careers of a number of talented researchers over the years, and it will continue to be one of the foundation's cornerstone programs. In order to insure the long-term continuation of the program, the trustees have decided that this pause is necessary.
