Closure of the Senate-House for repairs: Notice

6 August 2007

The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that the Senate-House will now close to allow essential work on the ceiling to take place. It is unlikely to reopen for University business until early in 2008.

On 1 October the Vice-Chancellor's Annual Address and the Congregation of the Regent House for the Election and Admission of the Proctors will take place in Great St Mary's Church as will subsequent Congregations for the duration of the repairs to the Senate-House. Discussions during Michaelmas Term will take place in the Newton Room in the Pitt Building (and not the Council Room as stated in the Reporter on 25 July (p. 906)) unless advised otherwise.
