The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that she has accepted with gratitude a bequest of approximately £30,000 under the Will of the late Dennis Neligan Cole, M.A., of Christ's College. The bequest will be used to establish a fund, named the Dennis Cole Fund, for the support of the Department of Paintings, Drawings, and Prints in the Fitzwilliam Museum other than for the acquisition of works of art.
The Council is submitting a Grace to the Regent House (Grace 1, p. 967) for the approval of regulations to govern this Fund.
