Clare Hall

PRESIDENT

The Fellows of Clare Hall invite expressions of interest in the post of President of the College, to succeed Professor Ekhard Salje, who will reach the end of his term of office in September 2008.

Clare Hall is a Postgraduate College in the University of Cambridge. The College has 16 Official Fellows, 16 Professorial Fellows, 17 Research Fellows, and up to 45 Visiting Fellows from universities around the world, together with up to 150 graduate students.

The President, who is Clare Hall's Head of House, is elected for a single period of seven years, and is not eligible for re-election. He or she must be under the age of 63 at the date of admission. The appointment will run from 1 October 2008. The President is normally required to reside in the College during University Full Term. Family accommodation is provided.
