Jesus College wishes to appoint a part-qualified CIMA student to the position of Management Accountant. This new post will report to the Finance Manager, and has been created to improve the College's planning and control capabilities.
Key elements of this role will include: budgeting and forecasting; preparation of quarterly management information; analysis of the Investment Portfolio; departmental cost control; project appraisal and control. The College will support the successful candidate to pursue his/her CIMA qualification and work experience requirements.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who possesses strong analytical skills and an ability to apply his/her technical knowledge. Excellent communication capabilities are also required for this role, which has many contacts both in the College and in the wider community of Cambridge University.
The salary will be in the range of £27,119 to £30,647 a year (point 34-41 on the Jesus College scale) according to experience, for 36.5 hours a week.
