The Worshipful Company of Cooks of London and Corpus Christi College are pleased to announce the first Cooks' Lecture on Tuesday, 16 October 2007. The lecture, entitled My genes make me eat that, will be given by Professor Steve O'Rahilly, M.D., FRCP, FRCPI, FRCPath, FRS, FMedSci, Professor of Clinical Biochemistry and Medicine at Addenbrooke's Hospital, at 5 p.m. in the McCrum Lecture Theatre, Bene't Passage. The Responder will be Prue Leith, celebrity cook, author, and Chair of the School Food Trust.
The lecture will be followed by a reception to which all are welcome. Entrance is by ticket, which can be obtained free of charge from Corpus Christi College (tel. 01223 339718, e-mail lfs26@cam.ac.uk).
