Mathematics in Cambridge: Event

Members of the University are invited to a free programme of activities at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences on 22 September, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lectures include: The mathematics of communication, by Professor Frank Kelly; The evolution of complexity, by Professor Ray Goldstein; Discrete mathematics, by Professor Imre Leader; Theories of the Big Bang, by Professor Neil Turok. There will also be an opportunity to tour the new Mathematics pavilions in Clarkson Road, including the Isaac Newton Institute. Lunch is included.
