Election

Professor Peter Alexander Markowich, Dipl.Ing., Dr. Techn., Technical University of Vienna, Professor of Mathematics, University of Vienna, elected Professor of Applied Mathematics with effect from 15 August 2007.

Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. Mrs Toshimi Boulding, NH, Lector in Japanese, and Ms Emma Lejun Wu, Lector in Chinese, reappointed from 1 October 2007 for one year.

Deputy Director

Lauterpacht Research Centre for International Law. Dr Roger Michael O'Keefe, M, reappointed from 1 April 2006 for four years.

Grants of Title

Affiliated Lecturers

Computer Science and Technology. Dr Richard Charles Jennings, PEM, and Mr Jack Lang, EM, have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2007 for a further two years.

Engineering. Dr Tapani Ryhänen has been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2007 for two years.
