Lucy Cavendish College invites applications from women* for a Fellowship and College Lectureship in English, with effect from 1 October 2007 or as soon as possible thereafter. Lucy Cavendish College admits women of 21 years and over as undergraduates and graduates. Applications are welcome from candidates with interests in teaching and research in any field or period of English literature and the successful candidate will be expected to teach across a range of undergraduate courses.
The appointment will be for three years in the first instance with the possibility of renewal for periods of five years at a time, and is subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the College which include residence requirements.
The stipend of the College Lecturer, which is pensionable under USS, will be at a point on a scale from £26,000 a year, depending on qualifications and experience.
