Emmanuel College and New Hall

COLLEGE LECTURESHIP AND FELLOWSHIP IN POLITICS

Emmanuel College and New Hall intend to appoint to a joint College Lectureship in Politics, with a Fellowship at New Hall, from 1 October 2007. The post is for a single fixed term, dependent on an external grant to New Hall, and is not renewable.

The person appointed will be expected to teach for twelve hours a week in Full Term, to interview students applying for places at both Colleges, to direct studies at New Hall and at times possibly also at Emmanuel, and to contribute to the academic life and running of New Hall. The salary will be on a twelve-point scale, currently £18,437 to £31,211 a year. The post is open to women and men; appointment will be for a single fixed term of up to three years.
