Graces submitted to the Regent House on 20 June 2007

The Council submits the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 107), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 29 June 2007.

1. That the regulations for University Composition Fees, as amended by Grace 3 of 14 March 2007, be further amended, with effect from 1 September 2007, as follows:1

With effect from 1 October 2007

By amending the entry for Land Economy Research so as to read:

2. That, on the recommendation of the General Board, the title of the Faculty of East Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, approved by Grace 2 of 2 May 2007, be amended to the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies.2

The opportunity has been taken to correct the entry for the course in Land Economy Research for the M.Phil. Degree.

2 The General Board have received a proposal from the Faculty Board that the new title for the Faculty of Oriental Studies be amended to more accurately reflect the areas currently covered in the Faculty (see the Report of the General Board on the restructuring of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, p. 314, and the Council's Notice in response to the discussion of this Report, p. 608).
