The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board or other authority concerned, the regulations for certain University examinations have been amended as follows:
(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 351) The subjects Physics and Advanced Physics for examination in Part IB of the Natural Sciences Tripos have been retitled as Physics A and Physics B respectively. The regulations have been amended as follows:
Regulation 9.
By amending the references to Physics and Advanced Physics under Part IB to read as Physics A and Physics B respectively.
Regulations 20 and 23.
By amending the references to Physics and Advanced Physics in these regulations to read as Physics A and Physics B respectively.
Regulation 21.
By deleting sub-paragraph (a) and relettering sub-paragraphs (b) and (c) accordingly; by replacing the reference to Advanced Physics in new sub-paragraph (a) by reference to Physics B; by replacing the reference to Physics in new sub-paragraph (b) by reference to Physics A; and by moving Advanced Physics (Physics B) from group (viii) to group (iv) in new sub-paragraph (b). The lists of subjects in groups (ii), (iv), and (viii) have accordingly been amended so as to read:
