Lucy Cavendish College intends to strengthen its undergraduate and graduate admissions team by appointing a part-time Student Recruitment Officer, on a consultancy basis, initially for a maximum of one year from September 2007.
It is expected that the successful candidate will be a graduate who has experience of the Higher and Further Education sectors. A knowledge of equivalent sectors abroad would be valuable. Familiarity with university entrance requirements and procedures would be an advantage, and knowledge of database construction and development and possession of a driving licence are essential. Lucy Cavendish College is a College for mature women (21 and over) and the Officer will have particular responsibility for disseminating information about the College to the widest possible relevant audience and for encouraging applications to the College from well-qualified students from all backgrounds. The position will involve travel, both within the UK and abroad.
