The College proposes to appoint a Stipendiary Lecturer in English for two years from 1 October 2007. The Lecturer will be expected to teach up to nine hours a week, averaged across the year, in Old and Middle English Literature and in the history of the English Language. The person appointed will be paid on the Stipendiary Lecturer's scale, at present £17,163 a year for nine hours (reviewed annually). The post is open to both women and men.
