The Registrary has received notice from the Clerk at the Privy Council Office that Her Majesty the Queen, at a Council held on 2 May 2007, was pleased to approve an amendment of Statutes K, 5 (review) and K, 9 (delegation) which was submitted under the Common Seal of the University in accordance with Grace 4 of 6 December 2006.
The amendment introduces (i) revised procedures concerning the Vice-Chancellor's duty to deal with allegations that there has been a breach of the Statutes and Ordinances and (ii) provision for a University body constituted by Statute or Ordinance to delegate to a University officer (see the Council's Report, dated 24 July 2006, Reporter, 2005-06, p. 881).
