Keble College proposes to elect a Research Fellow and Tutor in Law for a period of four years (fixed term, non-renewable) from 1 October 2007. The person elected will have research interests in public law and will be required to teach two of the following: constitutional law, administrative law, or criminal law. The teaching stint will be four hours a week averaged over the 24-week academical year. The Fellow may be asked to help in a limited way with the academic and pastoral organization of the subject and to participate in undergraduate admissions. Informal enquiries may be made to Dr James Edelman (e-mail james.edelman@law.ox.ac.uk).

The Fellow will not be a member of the Governing Body, but will be a full member of the Senior Common Room and will be entitled to lunch and dinner at the Common Table as well as an academic allowance of £437 a year (reviewed annually). A shared room will be available. The stipend for up to four hours of teaching a week averaged over the year will be £3,999 a year (reviewed annually). In addition, a Fellow who is not in receipt of other salaried or research grant income will receive a housing allowance of £3,750 a year (adjustable annually).
