NON-STIPENDIARY TEACHING FELLOWSHIP IN THE PHYSICAL SCIENCES

Robinson College proposes to elect to a Non-Stipendiary Teaching Fellowship in the Physical Sciences, from 1 October 2007. Applications are sought from specialists currently holding a postdoctoral research appointment in any field of the Physical Sciences, although preference will be given to those working in Chemistry and Physics. The Fellowship would be coterminous with the applicant's research funding.

The Teaching Fellow will be a member of the Governing Body with the usual privileges of a Fellow, eligible to sit on College committees and expected to play an active part in the life of the College, including undergraduate teaching and admissions.

Applications, including a curriculum vitae, a statement of current research and teaching interests, and the names of three referees, should be addressed to the Senior Tutor, Robinson College, Cambridge, CB3 9AN. The closing date for applications is 15 June 2007. Applicants are asked to arrange for their referees to send their references directly to the Senior Tutor by the closing date. Short-listed applicants will be interviewed in early July.

COLLEGE LECTURESHIP AND FELLOWSHIP: DIRECTION OF STUDIES IN PRE-CLINICAL MEDICINE

Robinson College expects to appoint a College Lecturer with specific responsibility for the direction of studies in Pre-Clinical Medicine. The appointment, which will be tenable from 1 September 2007, will be for five years, and the person appointed will also be elected to a Fellowship in the College, with all the usual benefits. Applications are invited from specialists in any relevant field of the Biological and Biomedical Sciences. The person appointed will also be expected to supervise in a key area of Part IA or IB of the Tripos. He or she will also be expected to engage in research and to contribute to the life and running of the College. The salary will be in the range of £26,666 to £30,013.
