CEBR POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW IN ECONOMICS

Lincoln College, in association with the Centre for Economics and Business Research (cebr), invites applications from graduates, either men or women, for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Economics, tenable for a period of three years, renewable for a fourth year, from 1 July 2007, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The Fellowship will enable the successful candidate both to engage in research and teaching at Lincoln College, and to act as an Economics Consultant with cebr, a small independent and high-profile economics and business consultancy based in London, which provides analysis, forecasts, and strategic advice to companies, financial institutions, and government. Candidates with interests in any area of economics will be considered.

The Fellow will be expected to provide teaching for undergraduates reading Economics for up to four hours a week, averaged over the 24 teaching weeks of the Oxford academical year. The post-holder will be expected to spend approximately half of his or her time working on a variety of projects with cebr, which will reflect the interests and experience of the post-holder.

Further particulars may be downloaded from the College website at http://www.lincoln.ox.ac.uk/, or obtained from the Academic Administrator, Lincoln College, Oxford, OX1 3DR (tel. 01865 279801, fax 01865 279802, e-mail helen.rennie@lincoln.ox.ac.uk), to whom six copies of a curriculum vitae, and a covering letter detailing the applicant's interest in the post, together with the names of three referees, should be submitted by 27 April 2007. Applications by e-mail are welcome.
