FIXED-TERM DEPARTMENTAL LECTURESHIP IN PHILOSOPHY OF PHYSICS

Applications are invited for a Departmental Lectureship in Philosophy of Physics. The appointment is fixed-term for a period of one year, from 1 October 2007 to 30 September 2008, and is not renewable. The successful candidate will be expected to give 28 lectures over the year on topics within philosophy of physics, to give an average of three hours a week of tutorials during term time, to undertake a limited amount of graduate supervision, and to participate in examining and administrative duties as required. The salary will be in the range of £26,666 to £32,796 a year (as at 1 August 2007).
