A funeral service for Alexandr Mischenko (see p. 514) will be held in Trinity College Chapel at 12 noon on Tuesday, 20 March 2007.

TEACHING APPOINTMENT AND FELLOWSHIP IN BIOCHEMISTRY OR CELL BIOLOGY

TEACHING APPOINTMENT AND FELLOWSHIP IN MATHEMATICS FOR NATURAL SCIENCES

Applications are invited for the following College Lectureships which will be tenable for five years in the first instance. The successful applicants will be elected into Fellowships of the College.

College Lectureship in Biochemistry or Cell Biology

The successful candidate will supervise in the biochemical and cell biological courses of both the Natural Sciences and Medical Sciences Tripos and will assist with direction of studies and admissions in Natural Sciences.

College Lectureship in Mathematics for Natural Sciences

The successful candidate will supervise in the mathematical courses of the Natural Sciences Tripos and will assist with direction of studies and admissions in Natural Sciences.

The Lectureships will each require six hours a week of College teaching (for 20 weeks a year) and will be tenable only by persons holding another salaried academic appointment in Cambridge. The starting dates may be determined by mutual agreement.
