DOMESTIC BURSAR

Jesus College is seeking to appoint a Domestic Bursar. Jesus has around 500 undergraduates, 250 graduates, 80 Fellows, and 130 support staff. Its buildings range in date from the fourteenth century to the present day and most are listed as being of special architectural or historic interest. The appointee will play a pivotal role in the life of the community, be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the College's domestic affairs involving all aspects of personnel management, and be responsible for the management of all building and accommodation services assisted by the Buildings and Housekeeping Managers.

Desirable attributes include: a proven and successful general management role with experience of leading diverse teams with excellent problem solving and project delivery skills; adaptability, calmness under pressure, resilience, and diplomacy; first-class communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to operate effectively in a collegiate environment. The College offers an attractive package for this full-time post.
