JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN LAW

Lincoln College invites applications from graduates, either men or women, for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Law, tenable for three years from 1 September 2007 to 31 August 2010 and non-renewable. On 1 September 2007, applicants should not have accumulated more than six years of full-time postgraduate study or research, excluding periods of professional training or study for a second undergraduate degree. The salary offered is currently £20,234 a year (subject to a deduction if accommodation is offered and accepted). Full Common Room rights and allowances are also offered.

The JRF will be expected to engage in research and to provide tutorial teaching up to four hours a week averaged over the 24 teaching weeks, and to set and mark collections in association with this. Teaching is in Constitutional Law for Moderations during the first two years of the post, and in Jurisprudence for Finals during all three years. The Fellow will also be required to assist generally in the pastoral supervision of undergraduates, to assist with the admissions process in Michaelmas Term, and to act as College Advisor to graduate students in Law.
