ACADEMIC DIRECTOR

The Centre for the Study of Jewish-Christian Relations seeks a new Academic Director, to take up appointment as soon as possible. The post-holder's principal responsibilities will be to serve as Course Director for the University of Cambridge Master of Studies Degree in the Study of Jewish-Christian Relations (subject to approval by the relevant University committees), to teach courses for Master's level students, to contribute to the teaching of undergraduate level courses (notably students of the Cambridge Theological Federation), to take part in the training of Christian Ordinands, and to prepare proposals for and to engage in research and publication. The salary will be in the range of £30,000 to £35,000 a year (pro rata).

Applicants should have completed a Ph.D. Degree or equivalent higher degree. The Centre is looking for someone with a strong publications record, or the demonstrable potential to deliver this in the near future. Experience of work with international learners, and of interdisciplinary teaching and research, will be an advantage.
