Final Vet.M.B. Examination (Revised Regulations)

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 515)

With immediate effect

The regulations have been amended as set out below (i) to clarify when students are required to make their first attempt at the examinations for Part I and Part II of the Final Veterinary Examination and (ii) to change the date on which the examination for Part II in the Easter Term commences. The Faculty Board of Veterinary Medicine are satisfied that no candidate's preparation for the examination in 2007 has been adversely affected by these changes.

Regulation 13.

By inserting a second sentence so as to read:

All candidates shall make their first attempt at the examination on the first published date for that examination provided that, in exceptional circumstances and for good cause, the Faculty Board may permit a candidate to defer taking the examination until the next timetabled sitting of that examination.

Regulation 15.

By replacing in line 2 the words 'the second Wednesday of Full Easter Term' by the words 'the sixth Wednesday of Full Easter Term' and by inserting as a second sentence:

All candidates shall make their first attempt at the examination in the Easter Term provided that, in exceptional circumstances and for good cause, the Faculty Board may permit a candidate to defer taking the examination until the following September.
