The Council submits the following Grace to the Regent House. This Grace, unless it is withdrawn or a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 107), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 16 February 2007.
1. That a transfer of £10,470,000 made by the Local Examinations Syndicate to the Chest in 2004-05 be allocated to the Strategic Planning Reserve Fund.1
1 The Financial Management Information for the year ended 31 July 2006 reports the transfer of these monies to the Strategic Planning Reserve Fund (Reporter, Special No. 9, p. 31). The need to make this allocation by Grace had been overlooked. Normally such allocations are made through the Annual Report of the Council on Allocations from the Chest. The Council is grateful to the Local Examinations Syndicate for this generous support to the University.
