Professorship of Educational Leadership: Notice

The Board of Electors to the Professorship of Educational Leadership invite applications for this post. The Faculty of Education takes a broad view of educational leadership which encompasses developing new forms of professional partnership as well as studying the conditions for educational improvement. The successful candidate will have a strong track record as an educational researcher interacting productively with school practitioners, professional leaders, and national policymakers, and will take up appointment on 1 October 2007 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The appointment will be subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the University.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an innovative educator to play a key role in the Faculty of Education's development. The Faculty is committed to the highest standards of research and teaching and is a significant contributor to the improvement of educational policy and practice both in the UK and internationally.
