RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN MATHEMATICAL EPIDEMIOLOGY/ECONOMIC EPIDEMIOLOGY

King's College wishes to appoint a Research Fellow (a four-year Faculty-level position), to work in the interdisciplinary field of Mathematical Epidemiology. A preference may be given to candidates in the particular field of Economic Epidemiology. The Fellowship will be tenable for up to four years from 1 October 2007.

Graduates of any university are eligible, subject to the condition that they shall have obtained, or expect to obtain, a Ph.D. Degree or equivalent. The successful candidate will be a member of King's College and will be expected to take a full part in College life and to reside in Cambridge.

CENTRE FOR HISTORY AND ECONOMICS: PRIZE RESEARCH GRANTS

The Centre will be awarding a number of Prize Research Grants in the academical year 2007-08. The grants provide access to the Centre's facilities, a book grant, and other support, including funding towards research-related travel (up to a total value of £600). Students applying to study for the M.Phil. in Economic and Social History, in Political Thought and Intellectual History, in Historical Studies, in Modern European History, in Economics, or for other M.Phil. and postgraduate programmes of the University of Cambridge are eligible to apply. Prize Research Grants are conditional on acceptance by and matriculation at the University.

Applicants should submit a completed application form (which is separate from that for the University) and a short statement of research interests. Two letters of reference should be sent directly to the Centre. The Centre is committed to a policy of equal opportunity. The deadline for receipt of applications is 14 May 2007.
