Graces to be submitted to the Regent House at a Congregation on 27 January 2007

The Council have sanctioned the submission of the following Graces to the Regent House at a Congregation to be held on 27 January 2007:

That the following person be admitted to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by incorporation:

1. ARTUR KONRAD EKERT, Fellow of King's College and Leigh Trapnell Professor of Quantum Physics in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, Doctor of Philosophy of the University of Oxford (1992).

That the following person be admitted to the degree of Master of Arts by incorporation:

2. ANDREW FRANCIS THOMSON, Director (Head of Cross-Industry Co-operation) in the Local Examinations Syndicate, Master of Arts of the University of Oxford (1979).

That the following persons be admitted to the degree of Master of Arts under the provisions of Statute B, III, 6:

9. MARGARET BYFORD, Senior Manager (Management Accountant) in the Local Examinations Syndicate.
