POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP(S)

Applications are invited for up to two postdoctoral non-stipendiary Research Fellowships tenable from 1 October 2007 for two years initially, with the possibility of renewal for a further year. Applicants should be of postdoctoral level or expect to attain it by 1 October 2007, should have adequate financial support from a grant or contract for research, and should normally be resident and conducting their research in Cambridge in any academic field. The successful candidates will be entitled to Fellow's Commons. One of the candidates may be offered free single accommodation in exchange for certain duties. The other successful candidate may be able to rent accommodation in College.

Applications should include a current curriculum vitae, a research proposal, not normally exceeding 1,000 words, and the names of two referees, whom the candidate should ask to write directly to the Master, St Edmund's College, Cambridge, CB3 0BN. Short-listed candidates will be invited to submit a substantial piece of work relating to their research for evaluation. The closing date for receipt of applications and references is 16 February 2007. It is hoped to interview on 12 April 2007.
