ABDULLAH AL-MUBARAK RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN ISLAMIC AND MIDDLE EASTERN STUDIES

The College hopes to elect not later than 1 May 2007 to an Abdullah Al-Mubarak Research Fellowship in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies, with tenure from 1 October 2007. Candidates should have recently completed or be about to complete a doctoral degree. The College welcomes applications from scholars with research interests in any aspect of Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies, including especially Gulf Studies. The tenure of the Fellowship will be for three years. The holder will be permitted to do a limited amount of teaching for the College, but would require the permission of the Governing Body to undertake other paid work. The stipend currently ranges from £19,666 to £20,841 and is reviewed annually. Further financial particulars are available on request.
