Elections, appointments, reappointments, and grants of title

The following elections, appointments, reappointments, and grants of title have been made:

Elections

Professor Michael Aizenman, B.Sc., Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Ph.D., Yeshiva University, New York, Professor of Physics and Mathematics, Princeton University, elected Rothschild Visiting Professor from 27 May 2007 until 29 June 2007, assigned to the Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences.

Professor Jeremy John Baumberg, M.A., JE, Ph.D., Oxford, Professor of NanoScience, School of Physics and Astronomy and School of Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton, elected Professor of Physics (2006) with effect from 1 November 2007.

Professor Lawrence William Sherman, B.A., Denison University, M.A., Chicago, Ph.D., Yale, Albert M. Greenfield Professor of Human Relations, University of Pennsylvania, elected Wolfson Professor of Criminology with effect from 24 April 2007.

Grants of Title

Affiliated Lecturers

Land Economy. Ms Susan Margaret Chadwick, M, Mrs Moira Bell Gardiner, ED, Dr Linda Brown Glascock, Dr Danilo Camargo Igliori, DAR, Dr Danuta Jachniak, Mr Kelvin Macdonald, Ms Jill Morgan, Dr Maria Ruiz-Tagle, and Mr David Stott have been granted the title of Affiliated Lecturer from 1 October 2006 for a further year.
